Why Story

I Always Wanted To Help My Community

I am a giver. I get so much satisfaction by giving. The epiphany of when I discovered that a project manager profession is noble profession that gives. It turns someone’s desires into reality. Also, a project manager can run a company and not be relegated to a position that does not add significant value. After that discovery in 2012, I immediately trademarked: The Art & Science of Vision to Reality! So that I can take a person’s vision and turn it into reality.

I am passionate about 2 things:

  1. Helping other people find a job. This is so personal to me and I really love what Great Careers Groups & BENGdoes to help people find employment.
  2. Helping the future through children. I grew up without a father and Kirk Berry of KB Foundation does a great job of mentoring and training youth – bringing fathers and other interested adults to participate in their growth – making a significant societal impact:

I Pledge to Support the UN Sustainability Goals

I can help my community because our community has always been built on small business. That corner store owner, that electrician, that plumber, the person bringing fruits and vegetables by truck – all of whom served our community, but still struggled while doing it. They wanted to grow, create a legacy, but didn’t know how. They always thought that more money would be the answer, and, in many cases, it was – but they didn’t have access to financial support outside of the neighborhood. That is why I am pledging to support the UN Sustainability goals # 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all and #11: Reduce inequality within and among countries.

Setting Clear Goals and Build a Strong Business Legacy

While helping larger companies grow through my project management skill set, I realized that more money wasn’t always the answer, but having clear goals with everyone on the same page, just like the community, coming together, leveraging their strengths. Also, education understanding the importance of positive cash flow. Being in this position, they could run a better business and put themselves in a better position to get the cash they needed and create the legacy they desired.
